University of Texas Online Homework Site
First, all of my AP Physics students must have a University of Texas EID for homework
assignments. All classes will have homework that must be submitted online.
To get your EID, go to
https://idmanager.its.utexas.edu/eid_self_help/
and click on Get a UT EID on the left side of the page
Then click Continue on the next page
Then answer NO to all four questions and click Continue
Then enter your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Your Email
Address (twice, if you have one) and click Continue (you can ignore all the
other blanks)
Then select your three security questions and answers in case you need to
recover your passwords and click Continue
Then enter your 8 character password twice and a hint. Your password
must have at least one letter and at least one number. Click Continue.
Then verify your personal information and correct any mistakes. Then click
Create My UT EID.
Then write down your UT EID and password. I will keep a record of your
ID and password so that you can complete your homework.
To Sign Up for Your Class, go to
https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/student
Click on The Arrow next to Get Started on the right side of the page
Enter your UT EID and Password and click on Log In
Click on Enroll in a New Course
Enter 1111 and click on Lookup Course Info
Under Courses Found select your class (make sure that it is for Madeira
HS)
Click on Request Enrollment
I will approve your enrollment in the class.
To Complete an Assignment, go to
https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/student
Click on The Arrow next to Get Started on the right side of the page
Enter your UT EID and Password and click on Log In
Select the correct Institution (Madeira HS)
Select the correct Semester (Fall 09)
Click on the Name of the Course (AP Physics C: M)
Click on the Name of the Assignment
View or Print the Assignment from the window on the left
Enter your answers in My Answers on the right. You have a limited number
of tries for the correct answer.
The assignment must be completed before the day and time that the
assignment is due.
After the assignment deadline, the answers with explanations will be
published
