IT Security Plan for <name>
<date>
<name> may have access to the Astrophysics Science Division(ASD) computers that are
part of the CD-014-L-GSF-6004 - (Multi-Program/Project IT - Science Systems)
computer systems security plan. Specifically, <name> will be granted access to ASD
workstations, which are used for work on <project name(s)>
<name> will not be granted root (superuser/administrator) accounts on any of the above
systems granted non-privileged access and will be authorized to only perform and
complete tasks assigned by <sponsor-name>, who is sponsoring his/her work.
In the event that <name> accesses unauthorized systems or files, the Organization
Computer Security Officer (OCSO), Phillip A. Newman(6-3920) will be notified
immediately. In the event that the OCSO is not available, the Directorate CSO (DCSO),
Nancy Laubenthal (6-5778) will be notified immediately.
No accounts will be established on any other computer system at GSFC or any other
NASA domain and no access will be given to information not previously mentioned
without written approval from the IT Security Manager (at GSFC) or the Information
Technology Security Group (at Ames). Accounts on future ASD servers may be
established provided the information being accessed is required for <name> to perform
and complete tasks allocated to by the sponsor.
The NASA/GSFC information, software and documentation contained on the ASD
systems are for the use and operation within the Code 600 Multi-Program/Project IT Science Systems. The Code 600 systems are covered by the Code 600 MultiProgram/Project IT - Science Systems IT Security Plan, Agency Number CD-014-LGSF-6004.
All system administrators of the above ASD computer systems can grant computer access
to <name> because a signed Account Request form is on file with the ASD system
administrator team and the Goddard ITSM. Should an account be required at NAS, a
signed Account Request will be submitted with the appropriate forms.
