Our office will be cleaning out student mail folders for graduating seniors after the Winter

to keep before the end of the term.

processed within the next two business days, provided your swap partner has
submitted their swap survey by that time.

made the swap in Wolverine Access, please be sure to do so as soon as possible.

*Earn LSA Elective Credits for Producing a Movie: SAC 300, 400 Dramatic Narrative
Production I & II
Every Fall, Screen Arts and Cultures (LSA) offers two courses in Dramatic Narrative movie
production: SAC 300 and 400. BBA students can enter these classes to work in the
Producing Department, responsible for the management of what are, in effect, small film
production companies. The Producing Department is responsible for human resource
management, scheduling, financial matters, marketing and promotion—everything that a
real world producing department does. These productions emulate the real world of feature
production and you will be able to see how films are made, having input from the creative
side right through to the final packaging of the product.
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in film production necessary. You will learn by doing, and
by working with SAC producers who have learned these skills by doing them. What you
bring to the party is a business model training and mentality, which strengthens and fleshes
out what our students learn through experience. Questions? Contact the instructor, Robert
Rayher: rray@umich.edu.
