Objectives of the project
1.  To increase the production of rice-based cropping
system through dissemination of modern rice varieties
(HYV) in Aus, Aman and Boro season.
2.  To generate site-specific resource conservation
technology by optimizing land use to increase the total
production for sustainable future rice-based cropping
systems
3.  To strengthen quality seed production, storage and
distribution at the farmer's level through dissemination
of improved management package and training.
4.  Training of extension personnel and farmers to minimize
the knowledge gap
5.  Validation and demonstration of saline tolerant rice
varieties
