Henry&Anzarouth& Lead&Guitar&and&Back5up&Vocals& Henry’s interest in music began at the age of 0 when his parents were constantly singing French nursery songs and lullabies. At the age of 6 he was already performing and singing on stage at Yeshiva Gedolah in Montreal. Shortly thereafter he enrolled in piano lessons and continued for several years, capping it off with the silver medal award within his age group. Henry gave up the piano temporarily when school became the focus and briefly continued later in life. At 18, he decided guitar was a more versatile instrument. It was the instrument of choice of his favorite rock stars, and it was more expressive and way, way more cool. Having already been part of a Hebrew rock group, known as Habalagan (Hebrew for Chaos) as a lead and backup vocalist, he added guitar as one of his talents (see pic of performance at Camp Massad, Laurentians, Quebec, when Henry had hair on his head and not much elsewhere at the age of 18). Now 30 years later, he’s bald, he continues to focus on the guitar and, to his surprise, now finds himself part of another Hebrew rock group, The Shul of Rock of Toronto. Henry continues to manage work/life balance, having a challenging job in the field of Information Technology Security, and a very understanding, accommodating and supportive spouse, Lynda, as well as a very demanding Golden Retriever, Sheba. ! !
