Kumquat Stir-Fry Serves 2-4 Ingredients 10 to 15 fresh kumquats, sliced in thirds 1 package of sliced mushrooms 1 package of stir-fry mix 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 finger of ginger, peeled and minced Grapeseed oil Sauce Juice of 1 orange Juice of 1 lime 1 Tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. corn starch, dissolved in cold water (you could substitute with arrowroot powder) Orange zest ¼ cup soy sauce 1 tsp. toasted sesame oil Directions 1. 2. 3. 4. Mix all the ingredients together for the sauce, stir thoroughly until all the sugar is dissolved Heat up a tablespoon or so of oil in your pan; add the veggies, mushrooms, and kumquats; stir fry for several minutes Add the ginger and garlic a minute or two before you add the sauce Add the sauce and cook for 30 seconds
