Homeless Veterans Furniture Program
Two words that should never be used together “Homeless” and “Veteran”
On a National level, we have
approximately 67,000 homeless
Veterans and over 200 living in
the streets and camps in and
around Austin.
In a effort to assist the Veterans
Administration homeless program, the
City of Austin has partnered up with the
Texas Association of Vietnam Veterans by
collecting new and/or gently used furniture
and household items. We are asking the
community for donations in assisting
our recently housed(no longer)homeless
veterans as a way to give back to those
who have honorably served our country.

Frenzel at Emily.Frenzel@austintexas.gov The City has a secured
warehouse location to drop off the items and may be able to
provide pick up on a case by case basis. All donations can be
tax write offs.
