Upper GI Specialist Nurses
(Key Worker)
We are Specialist Nurses working within a Specialist Team.
We see patients with Upper Gastro—Intestinal (GI) diseases. The
term collectively refers to the disease areas affecting the
oesophagus, stomach, duodenum, pancreas and liver.
We are here to provide support throughout your care, answering
questions or queries you may have about your condition.
We also work within the larger specialist team which includes:
Gastroenterologist, Consultant Surgeon, Radiologist, Dietitian and
the Nursing Staff.
