Ballibay for the Fine and Performing Arts, the Farm
Arts Camp, a fine-arts intensive program, the Rock
Farm, a rock music program, the Camptown Theater
Workshop, a two-week theater intensive, and the
Endless Mountains Dance Camp. Campers from all
programs live together in rustic cabins, separated by
gender, and share meals together in the same dining
hall. Campers from one program are free to utilize
the staff and facilities from any other program.
Coed resident, ages 7-16 years old
Berkshire Hills is a coed, Jewish sleep away camp for
children ages 7-16. Since 1931, children, families and
retreat groups have enjoyed the beauty and spirit of
our camp, set on a private lake and more than 600
pristine acres. While our program is designed to
reflect Jewish values, we welcome all children to
camp and believe that the values we teach – respect,
giving back, community, and charity – benefit
everyone. Like all learning at camp, these values are
not taught in a classroom - but on the ball field, in a
dance class, and around campfires. In this way,
campers not only learn about these values – they live
them.

plenty of choices across many disciplines so kids
explore what they are interested in. Come join us for

Coed day camp, Music/Arts, Sports, Traditional, ages
Pre-K through 7th grade
Instead of a rigid structure, we give our campers
choice. Instead of teaching kids the typical way, we
give them tools and gentle guidance to help them
become autodidacts. There are a gazillion ways for
kids to design a day at camp. One camper might dive
into cooking and animation while another rock climbs
before playing in our inflatable soccer stadium. It’s
up to them. The schedule of the day is designed to
create a balance of free choice, all-camp spirit
events and times where kids take a break from the
action to get to know each other and their
counselors.
