Note: The following document is a curriculum guide to be used at the freshman level in all English classes. It is organized into
quarters and divided into weeks with the activities for each week listed. Furthermore, the beginning of each new unit lists the
state goals/standards that will be met through the activities inherent in said unit. The timeline is not restrictive, but it should
be used as a guide so all students at the freshman level are introduced to the same information during the course of their first
year of high school English.
