This brochure outlines some of the many benefits offered to Full-Time Team Members
residing in Hawaii, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), educational assistance and
other supportive programs. We are committed to caring for our team members, and we
believe our benefits package is an important advantage of employment at FedEx Office
and Print Services.
FULL-TIME ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, a team member must meet the following criteria:
Employed full-time as a regular team member and working an average of at least 32
hours a week.
Complete four continuous weeks of full-time employment. Eligible for medical, dental
and vision benefits the first day of the month following or coinciding with four weeks of
full-time employment.
Eligible for supplemental life, short-term & long-term disability and Flexible Spending
Accounts the first day of the month following or coinciding with three continuous months
of full time employment.
PART-TIME ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, a team member must meet the following criteria:
Employed part-time as a regular team member and working an average of at least 20
hours a week.
Complete four continuous weeks of part-time employment. Eligible for medical and
vision coverage the first day of the month following or coinciding with four weeks of parttime employment.
Flexible Spending Accounts
There are two Flexible Spending Accounts, the Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA)
and the Dependent Care Assistant Program (DCAP). The accounts allow you to set aside
money before taxes, and then reimburse yourself for eligible expenses with the money that
hasn’t been taxed. The accounts work similarly, but they are used for very different things.
Basic Life Insurance
Basic Life Insurance costs you nothing! It is fully paid by FedEx Office. Regular, full-time team
members are provided with life insurance equal to two times base annual salary (as of the first
day of the current month), to a maximum of $300,000. The minimum amount of coverage
provided is $50,000.
Supplemental Life Insurance
You can purchase team member supplemental life insurance up to five times your
annual salary, not to exceed a maximum of $500,000.
Spousal/Domestic Partner coverage may be purchased in an amount not to exceed
$100,000, or 50% of the amount of your total life insurance, whichever is less.
Dependent child/Dependent Domestic Partner child coverage of $5,000 or $10,000 may
be purchased.
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
Team members are eligible to contribute in the 401(k) Plan on the first of the month following
one month of employment. Deductions will begin with the first full pay period following the
effective date. Team members can defer 1% to 50% of their eligible compensation up to the
IRS limits. A team member’s pre-tax contribution is immediately 100% vested. There are a
variety of investment options and a loan provision is available.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
Team members can defer 1% to 10% of their covered compensation to purchase FedEx stock.
Payroll deductions are post-tax.
Aflac
The Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan provides additional coverage in the event you or your
eligible dependents have been diagnosed with cancer. Aflac helps provide an important safety
net in fighting the financial consequences of cancer that result beyond traditional health
insurance. The Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan pays benefits directly to you, unless assigned,
for services such as: Radiation and Chemotherapy, Hospital Confinement, Medical Imaging
and Cancer Screening Wellness plus...much more.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Team members & eligible dependents can receive up to five free confidential counseling
sessions per incident. Licensed counselors can address issues such as emotional well-being,
personal finances, addiction and recovery, legal matters, and work-related concerns.
Vacation and Sick Time
Eligible team members accrue vacation time depending on category of position and length of
service. Eligible team members can also accrue a maximum of 48 sick hours. Refer to the
FedEx Office Team Member Handbook for specific information.
Adoption Benefit
Team Members can receive up to $5000 for eligible Adoption related expenses every two
years.
Business Travel Accident Insurance
Team members are covered under an Accidental Death & Dismemberment Policy (up to
$100,000) as long as the accident that causes the covered loss occurs while working or while
on authorized travel away from your place of regular employment.
Holidays
All locations observe the following six holidays each year: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. In addition, team
members are eligible for 2 floating holidays per calendar year.
Bereavement Time
A maximum of 24 hours (three days) bereavement time is offered per occurrence.
Jury Duty
FedEx Office supports team members fulfilling their civic duty. All regular full-time team
members will be paid their regular wages (less the amount received as compensation by the
court) to a maximum of 10 working days.
Discount Purchases
Team members may purchase FedEx Office merchandise/services at a discount.
Scholarship Programs
Scholarship Programs are established to assist and encourage the education of team
members as well as qualified children, legally dependent stepchildren, and wards of our team
members.
Educational Assistance Program
FedEx Office reimburses for the cost of tuition, fees and similar expenses for courses taken as
part of a degree program or courses directly related to your career at an accredited institution –
$750.00 per academic term for undergraduate courses
$1250.00 per academic term for graduate courses
Day Care Discount Program
Team members may be eligible for discounts on daycare fees at The Children’s Courtyard or
Knowledge Learning Corporation (Kindustry, Children’s World, etc).
Commuter Benefits (Commuter Spending Account)
A Commuter Spending Account (CSA) is an employee benefit program that allows you to set
aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for certain transit and parking expenses you incur
traveling to and from work

Disability Insurance (Company Paid)
Short-term Disability Benefits are 60% of weekly pay to a maximum of $1,000 per week for
up to 12 weeks. Coverage begins on the eighth consecutive day of disability.
Long-term Disability Benefits are 60% of monthly pay, up to a maximum of $10,000/month.
Coverage begins at the end of the short-term disability period. Maximum benefit period is
based on years of service.
