Promotional Products Industry
Overview
Definition: Promotional Products are articles of merchandise (often branded with a logo) used in
marketing and communication programs. They are given away to promote a company, corporate image,

THE advertising and marketing medium for small business
The medium that “remains to be seen” on desks, in pockets and homes
More than 2 ½ times more cost efficient than Newspaper*
During the last four years, marketers have increasingly turned to this medium. So much
so that Promotional Products have beaten Radio in revenue for that period of time.
A typical Drug ad in the Tampa Tribune or Tampa Bay Times will run $32,000 per ad. And that
ad is placed in 50 or more newspapers on any given day. Over 1.5 million spent in one day for
one drug ad.
For the small businesses that our industry serves 2 or 3 of those ads may represent a full year’s
budget. That’s why a big portion goes to Promotional Products.
