Title: Regional Fundraiser Part Time: Salary circa £18,000-£22,000 (pro rata) Closing Date: 6th September 2014 Hours: 20 hours per week with the scope to increase Location: Home based, preferably in the Salisbury area of Wiltshire About the role: The Regional Fundraising role offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to help grow fundraising potential within the South/South West. You will act as the main point of contact whilst representing Hope for Tomorrow and its long term goals. As well as managing existing relationships, you will be tasked with identifying new opportunities and managing a network of volunteers. You will report into the Fundraising Management Team and help with the efficient and effective delivery of regional income targets. Key Responsibilities: Further develop the fundraising strategy in a defined geographical area Act as the first responder to enquiries Provide a high level of service to both existing and new community funders including Rotary, Lions, Masons etc, various other clubs, associations and educational organisations Deliver talks and presentations within the community Give support at community events, including those organised by Head Office Research leads to potential corporate partners and grant giving bodies Record information and activity on Raisers Edge Person Specific and Essential Skills: A high level of verbal and written communications Excellent Microsoft Office and Internet skills Full clean driving licence (travel is a requirement within this role) Commitment to equal opportunities and the aims and values of Hope for Tomorrow Desirable Skills: Experience in and understanding of regional or other fundraising Experience within a sales or marketing position Experience volunteering within the Third Sector Familiarity in setting and working towards agreed budgets Please note that some evening and weekend work will be required. Provided and maintained by the Hope for Tomorrow and operated by highly trained NHS staff, these well-equipped units allow cancer patients to receive treatment in a restful environment closer to home.
