PACZKI?
Paczki are traditional Polish donuts glazed or sugarcoated and filled with a sweet filling. It is an annual
tradition to consume these in great quantities on the
eve of Ash Wednesday. In Catholicism, Ash
Wednesday is the start of the Lenten season - a time
of fasting and sacrifice. Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) is
celebrated in New Orleans for the same purpose. So,
on Paczki Day, indulge in excess and enjoy a box of
Paczki with your friends, family and co-workers.
