A number of other members of the Principle Cleaning team were also interviewed and were very pleased to attend the event. Peter Smith, Managing Director WINNING STREAK CONTINUES Principle Cleaning Services is delighted to have been awarded a portfolio of buildings for Lloyd’s Register. Lloyd’s of London is not a company and the building is not open to the public. It is the world’s leading insurance market where members join together as syndicates to insure, and reinsure risk conducting business in over 200 countries and territories worldwide. With the company already cleaning its neighbour, 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin), staff at Lloyd’s of London are responsible for the daily cleaning which is mainly carried out in the evening with a day clean presence and includes housekeeping duties and cleaning of the ground floor. Housed in the award-winning modern building in the City of London, an unmissable building on any tour of the City, Lloyd’s of London is a symbol of the decadent/contemporary contrast. It is a wonderful gigantic metal building with all its structures exposed and the lift, being a glass cube located in the exterior of the building, shows amazing views of London. Lloyd’s earliest home and its origins lay in the more modest surroundings of Edward Lloyd’s 17th century coffee house but in 1978 the Committee commissioned the architect Richard Rogers (now Lord Rogers of Riverside) to redevelop the Leadenhall site which was officially opened in 1986 by HM The Queen. Angelica is constantly impressive and I wanted to pass on my thanks on this occasion. The underwriters were very pleased with the speed and efficiency.” Manuel Feio has been nominated as Employee of the Month for November after this comment was sent by Andy Kerr, Building Manager, Kings Place Building Management. “Good news… I have had a phone call from a tenant today telling me about Manuel and how he puts a lot of effort into his work. Keep this up!” Luana de Jesus and David Maroto Barros at Taylor Wessing have been awarded joint winners of the Employees of the Month for December after Tim Grant, Head of Facilities said, “It has been mentioned that one of the strong contributory factors behind Principle Principle Cleaning Services Ltd The Campsbourne, London N8 7PN Tel: 020 8341 4718 Fax: 020 8347 8250 info@principlecleaning.com www.principlecleaning.com Cleaning’s success at Taylor Wessing is the ever presence of David and Luana who of course are our day operatives. They have provided a consistently high level of service and as such have become very much familiar faces within my Facilities Team. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and not only do they carry out their duties to an extremely high standard, they also do it in a charming manner, and courtesy always seems to be their middle name.” Saloni Sanassy, Building Manager at Broadgate Estates/Ropemaker has nominated the whole team for the quarterly award. “The team are proactive, reliable and have excellent attention to detail. They have turned around what was previously a poor standard of service provided by the previous cleaning contractor and we now receive regular praise and good comments. Could you also commend Ahmed Hassan who found a quantity of money in one of the toilets on level 14 and immediately handed this in to the occupier’s security – the employee who lost the money was very impressed at the honesty of our staff and extremely grateful to get the money back.” The Ropemaker team is Fernando Santos (left), Simao Nunes (middle) and Sara Santos (right). CUSTOMER PRAISE/ TESTIMONIALS Teresa Vieira received this praise from Karen Bird, Central Office Facilities Manager, National Trust at the start of the first week of the contract, “I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your team for the wonderful start to our service agreement. Welcome on board and thank you.” After a few days of the start of the cleaning contract Terry Murphy received this from Steve Forster, Head of Facilities at Lewis Silkin, “Just a quick email to say how impressed I have been since you have taken on the cleaning contract at 5 Chancery Lane. The whole process has been pain free for me and Principle Cleaning has managed everything beyond my expectations. The cleaning has improved immensely. This is exactly the sort of service I need from my cleaning company. I’m sure the standard you have set will continue and I look forward to working with you and your team and continue the good understanding we have established ourselves already.” “Just a thank you for all the hard work Timea Bernardt has done in cleaning all the furniture in the SDR after the carpet clean.
