Summary
This is a night shift sanitation position in a K-8 charter elementary school serving 420 students.
Hours for a full time position are 4-12pm, hours for part time position are 5-10pm. Applicant
must be able to pass a background check and provide a PPD test upon hiring. Preferably able to
start Jan. 25, 2016. Rate of pay is $10.00/hr.
Primary responsibilities














Sweep and mop floors.
Vacuum carpets.
Steam-clean carpets.
Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
Mix various cleaning agents.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners,
sponges, and squeegees.
Run various pieces of cleaning equipment for designed purposes.
Strip floors and apply wax to coat floors and buff.
Clean and service restrooms with auto scrubber and disinfectants.
Mow lawns, trim shrubbery, plant flowers, and apply pesticides.
Move heavy equipment and furniture.
Identify and report possible repairs.
Shovel snow from sidewalks and sprinkle salt on surface.
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors and
setting alarms after operating hours.
