Shoe Classification Lab Purpose To learn how to create a classification system To understand the reasons for classification Procedure 1. Remove your right shoe and place it on table. 2. List all of the shoes you have by 3 characteristics (example: White Nike Sneaker) 3. Divide this group into 2 sub-groups by common characteristics. Write a title for each sub group 4. Continue until you have only One Shoe per sub group. 5. When I tell you to, take any 3 shoes and pass them to the group next to you. 6. Classify these 3 new shoes. Place them into the top of your flow chart and continue through the chart. 7. Take another 3 shoes and pass them to the same group.
