Connect to your Hotel over the Internet –your FrontClerk installation is
ready …
Remote Internet Access to Your Hotel
Convenient - From any location in the world - using your private password
from your iPAD , Tablet, Mobile Smart Phone, PC or Mac- you can access
your hotels from a single application –LogMeIn (www.logmein.com) which
includes both FREE and paid services depending on your needs - or use the powerful
TeamViewer*. Then PRINT any
report or information locally.
We provide basic instructions for you
to install these services. The
FrontClerk application is already set up
to use once installed at your property.
Easy to use…
1. Connect your laptop or
workstation to the Internet over a DSL
(faster) or T-1 (fastest). The faster the
connection, the better the performance.
2.Click on the CONNECT button
( TeamViewer* example shown).
3. Select the Hotel you want to
connect to and you’re in!
4. Log In to HSS FrontClerk with your
password.
5. Remote Printing - Print any
FrontClerk report or screen to your local
printer or network printer without any
confusing configuration modifications.

Secure Your Data! -There are two basic ways to make sure your access to the
Internet from your hotel Property Management System computer is secure…
1. Install FIREWALL hardware and software to prevent unauthorized Internet
hackers from getting in through any Internet door you open, and
2. Use a VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK that encrypts all data from your
system to the Remote User (one separate system VPN required for Remote Users).
Hotel Software Systems can provide written guidelines for you to install a SECURE
Internet connection.
Other Remote Access to Your Hotel
Internet Access – Access your FrontClerk PMS through the internet from anywhere.
To do this, you need a VPN client installed on your work computer or laptop. Then
securely access your system and print locally. Ask us for our configuration guide.
Dial-Up Access - This remote access is used in our Legacy program over a standard
phone line. To do this, your HSS system requires a modem and a dial-in phone number.
When you are ready to access the Hotel, contact the Hotel to allow you system access.
You can then use any Windows PC with our Remote Access software (long distance
charges may apply). This is View and Use access. If you want to print all the FrontClerk
reports at your remote location, use the FrontClerk Online internet version described
above.
Remote File Transfer - the Hotel can designate which data is to be sent to a
remote location or home office. This information is then transferred as an email
attachment or in a common delimited text format that can be read by many popular
programs such as ACT!,Excel, popular Accounting Programs and databases.
