Career Glog Poster Project Objective Students will prepare a multi-media poster on a career of their choice using http://edu.glogster.com/register/ . Presentation of finished Glog will be made to the class. Setup an account using the free account under Register to EDU: While signed in to your Google Account, go to this site to start your Glogster project. In the upper right corner, choose Sign in with Google. The teacher/educator code is 7E6D95 At the 1. Click Create a New Glog Dashboard 2. When the glog template pulls up, click Save and Publish. 3. Change the Glog Name from the default Glog Number to the Name of your Career and Your Name. Ex. Social Worker Jaggy Jaguar. 4. Tag it with the name of your career and mark the subject not listed. 5. Click Save and keep it marked unfinished. (You will mark it finished only at the end of the project). 6. You can continue to save frequently while you work. 7. When you sign in to the website to continue working on your glog, go to your dashboard and find your glog name and click View this glog to continue working. Video clip add a YouTube video on your career topic (search for career.org clips) Web links link URL of other websites with more information Other Poster Features Attractive theme design (glog wall and page wall), appropriate fonts, size color, animations of text, images, graphics, videos, textboxes, links etc. sized and placed for readability and made visually appealing using good design principles. Text should not contain spelling errors. References Cite all sources (books, web sites, etc.) used in the creation of the poster in a text box. Use the same Works cited page that you started during the library research project. Click the Preview to see scroll bars for text boxes, watch videos, listen to music, etc. and Click back to edit. Click Save and Publish & click finished & Publish when totally finished with the project.
