Prior to your arrival we wanted to share some important information regarding summit programming and your trip to Providence. Accommodations The Dean Hotel We refer attendees to The Dean, boutique hotel at 122 Fountain St. in the heart of downtown Providence. The Dean supports social enterprise in a number of ways, a few of which you can read about here. Registration Friday 8 am to 12 pm in Alumnae Hall, 194 Meeting St, Providence, RI 02906 12 pm to 5 pm in The SEEED Summit Tent, Brown’s Main Green Saturday All day, Salomon Lobby, 79 Waterman Street on Brown’s Main Green Getting Around A map of the Brown University buildings where SEEED events are held is available on the following page. From Brown, getting downtown is an easy 20 minute walk. You can also use public transport with RIPTA or call an eco-friendly bike taxi with Sol Chariots or EcoPedicab. Uber or Lyft are options as well! Parking You said you had difficulty parking around Brown last year and we heard your concerns! We’ve reserved 22 parking spaces free of charge at the First Church of Christ Scientist, 71 Prospect St, Providence, RI 02906. Parking is also available at the Brown University Visitor Parking lot, located at the intersection of Power and Thayer Streets. Rates can be found here. Metered and free on street parking is also available around campus. Free parking is available several blocks from campus (all day near Governor and Ives, after 10am north of campus off Thayer Street near Bowen, Lloyd, and Keene.)
