TRANSFER ARTICULATION AGREEMENT Bergen Community College, Paramus, New Jersey and New York University, Steinhardt School of Education New York, New York Students completing the Bergen Community College programs listed, may transfer up to 72 credits to a related program of study at the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University. Associate of Arts (Liberal Arts) Associate of Arts (Fine & Performing Arts) Associate of Science (Professional Studies) Associate of Science (Natural Science & Mathematics) Appendix A lists the Bergen Community College programs included in the agreement, together with the articulated Steinhardt School of Education Programs and Majors. Bachelor’s degrees awarded by NYU-Steinhardt require completion of a total of 128 credits. Eligible students may be considered for up to $20,000 in scholarship assistance; $8,000 of this assistance is in the form of a Community College Transfer Opportunity Program (CCTOP) Scholarship. Eligible students must have completed a minimum of 48 transferable credits and have earned a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents, and must attend Steinhardt full-time. Students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree are not eligible for CCTOP. Some courses at NYU-Steinhardt are assigned four credits; in cases where a Bergen Community College three-credit course is determined to be equivalent to a four-credit NYU course, the BCC course will satisfy the content requirement, and the student shall be granted three credits towards the Bachelor’s degree program. Courses in which grades of “C” or above have been earned will be considered for transfer to NYU. Courses transferred from Bergen Community College may not be repeated at NYU.
