Runnion The Joyful Child Foundation Founder/Director By Erin D. Runnion The Joyful Child Foundation was established to help caring adults create safer communities for all children. In the aftermath of Samantha’s abduction, I learned that there are over 58,000 non-family abductions every year and I couldn’t believe that there wasn’t a national movement to better protect children. Our three-pronged approach to the problem gives everyone an opportunity to be a part of the solution through legislative advocacy, adult education, or child empowerment programs. Together, we can create sustainable programs that raise awareness, foster vigilance, and empower children with knowledge and skills to be brave and safe. Ultimately, our goal is to bring safety empowerment education to every child in America. Thank you for your help protecting children. www.thejoyfulchild.org
