Please take the following steps for course work that may need further evaluation.
1. Read the “Understanding Your Transfer Credit Report” (http://registrar.osu.edu/transfer_credit/tcr_brochure.pdf) brochure for definitions of
the transfer credit types.
2. You will work with an advisor during your orientation program. If your advisor recommends that courses be further evaluated, contact the
appropriate departmental Transfer Credit Coordinator (see reverse).
3. Take your Transfer Credit Report, syllabi, and a copy of your transcript(s) to the appropriate Transfer Credit Coordinator (NOTE: Students
are required to submit these documents before course work will be further evaluated). You should also be prepared to present additional
materials (course descriptions, titles of texts, notes, portfolio, etc.) if requested by the Transfer Credit Coordinator.
Suggestions: Course work designated as “deferred” should be evaluated within your first quarter of enrollment. Evaluation of this course work may
have an impact on your course scheduling and degree requirements. If your advisor has recommended the evaluation of general, special, or technical
credit, the evaluation of this course work prior to course registration should help you avoid registering for courses that may duplicate course work
taken at your previous institution(s).
