Call for Presentations
The Ontario chapters of OAPPA and OCFMA of the Eastern Region of Association of Higher
Education Facilities Officers (ERAPPA) invite you to submit a proposal for a presentation at the
ERAPPA Annual Conference to be held in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada from October 16 th to
October 19th, 2016.
THEME
The facilities landscape is constantly changing and evolving, and being able to navigate through
those changes and land in a better place is a core value in the business of facilities
management. The theme of this year’s conference, Navigating in a Climate of Change, is of
immediate relevancy in these dynamic times.
A “Climate of Change” can exist or be created by technology, the environment, government
oversight, fiscal realities or even changing demographics, and facilities management
professionals must be prepared, flexible and creative. This year’s annual conference is looking
to create innovative and engaging dialogues to explore the many issues which involve a
“Climate of Change” and the challenges and opportunities associated with them.
AUDIENCE
Attendance at this annual conference will include approximately 500 higher education facilities
management professionals and business partners from eastern Canada and the northeastern
United States. Sessions will be 60 minutes in length and should allow adequate time for
questions. Typically, the presentations should be developed for groups of 30 to 75 attendees.
Business partners are encouraged to team up with member institutions for joint presentations.

Development Hours for Professional Engineers that may vary by State or Province),
sustainability (GBCI (US-GBC LEED) or Green Globes), and Code Enforcement (may vary by State
