CASTROL FAST WHEELS HOT DEALS PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.Information regarding gifts and how to claim forms part of these conditions.
By entering, participants accept these conditions.
13.If any claim is deemed by the Promoter not to comply with these terms and
conditions, the claim will be discarded.
2.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 or over. Directors,
officers, management, employees and contractors (and the immediate
families of directors, officers, management, employees and contractors) of
the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, of the participating stores or
of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible
to enter. “Immediate families” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted
child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not
they live in the same household as the employee, officer or contractor.
14.The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable
for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential
loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is
suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence)
in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any gift, except for
any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability
is limited to the minimum allowable by law). Nothing in these conditions
of entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or
modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including
the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Offer valid from 9.00am (AEST) 01/09/15 and closes at 5.00pm (AEDT) on
31/10/15 (Promotion Period), or until gift stocks are exhausted (whichever
occurs sooner).
4.
During the Promotion Period, this promotion will only be conducted at
participating stores in Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland,
New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory
and Tasmania (Stores).
5.
The offer is only valid for the purchase of Castrol branded products in 20L &
205L packs (Participating Products) except for the Castrol Hydraulic Oil range.
6.
To claim a gift, participants must, during the Offer Period, purchase in one
transaction either 2 x 20L of Participating Products (Eligible Purchase A) or
1 x 205L of Participating Products (Eligible Purchase B) from the Promoter.
7.
For each participant who makes an Eligible Purchase A, they will receive
a bonus Castrol RX Trucker Cap and RX Tyre Stubby Cooler valued at RRP
$49.95 (inc GST) which will be provided to the participant at the time of
purchase, subject to gift stocks remaining. Participants cannot request and
will not receive any other gift.
8.
For each participant who makes an Eligible Purchase B, they will receive
a bonus Castrol RX Remote Control Racing Car valued at RRP $89.95 (inc
GST) which will be provided to the participant at the time of purchase,
subject to gift stocks remaining. Participants cannot request and will not
receive any other gift.
9.
Limit of one gift per person per day. Gifts are not transferable, exchangeable
or redeemable for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any
variation in gift value. If any gift is unavailable for any reason (other than
due to exhaustion of gift allocation), the Promoter may substitute for that
gift another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter.
10.If for any reason all or any part of an Eligible Purchase A or an Eligible
Purchase B is returned by a participant to the Promoter either during or
after the Offer Period (except where due to defect of the product), the gift
received by that participant under this offer in connection with that Eligible
Purchase must be returned to the Promoter.
11.
Claims must be received during the Promotion Period. The Promoter is not
liable for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed
or illegible claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering,
theft, destruction or otherwise.
12.The Promoter may require participants to provide proof of identity, proof of
age and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification
is at the Promoter’s discretion.
15.Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated
agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage or delay in transit
to gifts or be liable for any damage that occurs to gifts whilst they are
displayed on premise at a Store.
16.Participants who receive a gift must, at the Promoter’s request, participate
in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding
receiving any gift, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using
their name and image in promotional material.
17.
The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all claims from, and
prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who
tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the claim process or with
the operation of the offer or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a
disruptive manner or acts with the intent or effect of annoying, abusing,
threatening or harassing any other person.
18.The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
19.The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition using
Facebook. However, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or
administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants are providing their
information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Each entrant completely
releases Facebook from any and all liability.
20.If for any reason any aspect of this offer is not capable of running as
planned, including by reason of tampering, unauthorised intervention,
fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the
Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
offer, or invalidate any affected gift claims.
21.The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any tax implications,
including Fringe Benefit Tax implications that may arise. Independent
financial advice should be sought. Where this offer results in supplies
being made for non-monetary consideration (for the purposes of GST),
participants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view
that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged
are of equal GST inclusive market values.
