In addition to this MathXL assignment the AP packet (worksheets) will be graded for accuracy. 1. All assignments must be completed before the start of school, August 6, 2014. o This means 70% min on each quiz and 90% min on each Practice What I Missed assignments -­‐ INCLUDING QUIZ 6 AND PWIM 6. o The completion of summer math with the above noted scores will constitute a minor assessment grade (50 points); it is an all or nothing grade; partial credit will not be awarded. o There will be a summer math test during the first full week of school; it will be a major assessment worth 50 points. 2. Course format: 6 quizzes and 6 HW (Practice what your missed assignments) -­‐ Students will begin with quiz 1. After submitting quiz 1, student will work on “Practice what I missed on quiz 1”. o Students may re-­‐take quizzes after working on “practice what I missed” assignment. The “practice what I missed” assignment is diagnostic. It will automatically assign problems based on what was missed on the quiz. o To move to the next quiz, student must score a minimum of 70% on the quiz and 90% on the practice what I missed HW -­‐ Once the required score has been made on the quiz and HW, student may progress to next quiz and HW. Etc 3. Non-­‐graphing calculators, such as the TI-­‐30XIIS may be used. Unit 1: Basic Math Review.
