The section Automotive Aftermarket is responsible for the worldwide aftermarket business and services. In more than
140 countries, we offer spare parts, technical information, as well as diagnostic hard and software and services for
analysis, upkeep and repair of vehicles.
For one of our AA-AS locations in Göteborg based at our customer´s site (a well-known car and truck manufacturer)
we are currently looking for a R&D Engineer in the Special Car Tools Business
General Summary
This role will be key in the special tool Research & Development Engineering with the customer in Gothenburg and in
close teamwork with the Customer´s Account Manager.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
•
Special tool development according to the Car Manufacturer Method and in close cooperation with Product Development Engineering
•
Searching for technical information in the different Data Base Systems of the customer
•
Searching for Car Manufacturer´s component drawings virtually
•
Working together closely with the Bosch EMEA OE Tools Engineering Team
•
Prototype check and try out with Car Manufacturer´s vehicles / components
•
Special tool drawing control and drawing approval for production
•
Driving the Car Manufacturer´s Sign Off Process for special tool approval
Job Specifications
•
3-5 years experiences in R&D function
•
Very good mechanical Design Engineering skills
•
Basic FEA and FMEA knowledge
•
Good team working skills
•
SolidWorks CAD skills would be an advantage
•
Fluent in English & Swedish
•
Knowledge in vehicle repair and service processes would be beneficial
•
Knowledge in the automotive environment would be an advantage
