The section Automotive Aftermarket is responsible for the worldwide aftermarket business and services. In more
than 140 countries, we offer spare parts, technical information, as well as diagnostic hard and software and services for analysis, upkeep and repair of vehicles.
For one of our AA-AS locations in Göteborg based at our customer´s site (a well-known car and truck manufacturer)
we are currently looking for a Sales Engineer in the EMEA Automotive After Sales Business
General Summary:
This position is accountable for developing and growing the sales within a defined group of OE customers, in addition to identifying and developing new business opportunities for supplying products and services for vehicle
servicing and maintenance. The role will work close with the operational team to facilitate the opportunities within
the business.
Essential Functions:
• Report into the (Key) Account Manager and support
the monthly forecasting and account planning to determine strategy and sales outlook
• Anticipate customer tool needs, work independently on special tool tasks & opportunities and develop
the total service solutions concept with the customer
• Work closely with the OEM, giving support and a
contact point mainly for special tools & equipment
• Collect or search all technical information needed
to develop tools or equipment
• Liaise with Operations (Project Coordination,
Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, Finance,
Product Management and Project Management) on
specifications, drawings, product requirements,
pricing and delivery conditions for new and modified
tools, equipment and services
• Assure the “commercial execution process” for all
programs, pursuits, leads and opportunities
• Support testing and documentation of new and modified tools at the customer
• Drive the sign off process for special tool approval
Job Specifications:
• Automotive background
• Automotive, Agricultural or Heavy Duty market knowledge
• Knowledge of service workshop procedures
• Interest in Sales & Marketing, ideally some experience
• Automotive or heavy duty technical background preferably with electronic qualification
• Good presentation skills
• Strong communication skills – written and oral
• Team working
• Computer experience :- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Fluent English Language Skills
• Swedish Language Skills desired Location: Bosch AA/AS Location onsite the Customer´s Site
Start date: as soon as possible
Conditions: Occasional travel to other Bosch and Customer locations, mainly in Europe
