IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ

WELCOME TO RVE!
Action required by you: In order to keep you up to date with
what’s happening at RVE (for everything PAC related) – things like
fundraisers, monthly PAC meeting information, hot lunch program,
pizza days, family fun nights and special events like movie nights and
spring carnival, we need a way to communicate with you so we
are requesting that you sign in to rve.hotlunches.net ASAP & follow the
instructions to create a user account! This will allow us to email you all PAC
related information.
Please note for those of you who have been registered with the hotlunch website previously, the system gets wiped at
the end of every school year. You MUST register at the start of school every year.
Do you know what PAC means? We are all PAC Members – PAC stands for Parent Advisory
Council (which comprises of ALL guardians of children that attend RVE + a PAC Executive that is voted in
each year by parents that attend that particular meeting)
EVERYONE IS WELCOME & ENCOURAGED to attend the monthly PAC meetings. We would very
much appreciate EACH of you to join us at least once to see what the meetings are about! Meetings are held
from 6:30-7:30 in the school Staff Room and there is supervision in the gymnasium for your kids, so they can
come to the school and play while we meet. Schedule of meetings will be posted under the “Parent Advisory
Council” tab on the RVE WEBSITE,

A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
The PAC is an important part of the school community. PAC works in cooperation with the school administration and
teachers in order to enhance the educational experience of the students at RVE. As a principal, I rely on the voice of PAC to
guide in the decisions that are made at the school. Please sign up for the PAC email list and please come out to the
meetings. You are all PAC members and your voice is valued.
PS: At RVE, we try to send home as little paper notices as possible. Future communications, when possible, will be through
emails from me or from the PAC. Please ensure that you read through the weekly Principal's Message and keep the office
and PAC informed of your latest email address.
