New Products Corporation grew out of the Pier Equipment Company, a machine
repair business founded on April 22, 1922, by Walter Miller. With 28 similar
businesses surrounding him, Miller developed his reputation taking jobs others
refused, and delivering top notch quality. He went on to found five other companies
in addition to New Products: Plastic Masters, V-M Corporation, Modern Plastics,
Bangor Plastics, and Regal Manufacturing. A natural engineer, he developed the
automatic record changer, allowing a stack of records to play one after the other. His
