HARVARD UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS
POSITION: DRIVER
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of own vehicle which would be used for project-work (project will reimburse for
vehicle expenses but we are looking to hire only someone who already owns a car, which can
be used for project)
Successful completion of Secondary School Education
Possession of a valid class “C” Driving License
Professional driving experience of at least 5 years
Excellent knowledge of areas of Dar es Salaam
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and in control and to cope with stressful situations.
Willingness to work overtime if necessary and under tight deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluency in spoken and written English
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive the vehicle for transportation of authorized project personnel
Willingness to work hard and long hours
DURATION AND PAY
Driver will be employed for 6 months on a full-time basis.
