POSITIONS: 3 TRANSLATORS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Kiswahili and English, superb spoken and written fluency
Post-secondary education (university or technical)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience with translations from Swahili to English preferred
Previous experience working with poor communities helpful
Previous academic background in psychology or economics very helpful
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Translate survey questions from English to Kiswahili within very tight
deadlines
DURATION AND PAY
Translators will be employed for 1 month on a full-time basis; top performers
will be retained for another 6 months. Pay is very competitive!
