How to Access Your Degree Audit

Go to www.cuny.edu using the internet browser Firefox Mozilla

In the upper right side, click on Log-In and then CUNY PORTAL

Type in your CUNY Portal Username and Password

On the left side, under Applications/Resources, click on Student
Advisement/Degree Audit
If you plan to CHANGE your Major, follow the steps below:

Once you’ve accessed your Degree Audit, click the “What If” button

Select the appropriate Degree and Major you plan to declare

Then click the “Process Audit” button
If you see a degree audit for a DIFFERENT SCHOOL, follow the steps below:

Once you’ve accessed your CUNY Portal Account, click on “My Profile.”

Click the “Modify” button

Change your Primary College to John Jay

Change your Primary Role to Student

Click on “Save

Then click the “Process Audit” button
If you cannot log into CUNY Portal, follow the steps below:

On the CUNY Portal Log In page, click the “Account and Password Reset” link

Follow the instructions to reset your account

