Pronunciation 1 - this takes you to Studyspanish.com. Click on individual topics
1 through 10 and listen to the vowels as well as the correct pronunciation of the letters
D,R, and RR. Notice that the Spanish D is pronounced like a soft th as in the word THIS.
The R is pronounced like a soft D. Good luck with the RR. You are more than welcome
to explore the other topics.
☐
Pronunciation 2 - this takes you to the 123teachme.com website. This page
concentrates on the pronunciation of Spanish consonants. Make sure you view the full
lesson.
☐
The Alphabet - this page takes you to the 123teachme.com website showcasing
the Spanish alphabet. Pay special attention to the purity of the Spanish vowels. They are
AH. EH, EEH, OH, OOH, not diphthongs. Especially offensive is the pronunciation of
the letter E has a diphthong, turning padre (pah-dreh) into padrey (pah-drei).
