Analytic Platform Version 8.0
Milliman is pleased to announce MedInsight Analytic Platform Version 8.0. This new
release is a significant upgrade and will benefit clients with its many improvements.
NEW USER INTERFACE
The most noticeable change with MedInsight Version 8.0 is the
improved user interface. Leveraging the power of Microsoft
SharePoint, Milliman has designed a user interface that is more
user friendly and intuitive. This includes access to powerful new
dashboards and reports through simple navigation that creates a
more valuable user experience. While the underlying analytics and
methodologies available in MedInsight have always been strong and
reliable, we have dramatically improved the user interface to make
MedInsight Version 8.0 our best release yet.
• Pre-packaged MedInsight Solutions based on specific business/
use cases that leverage existing functionality in a more intuitive,
solution-based navigation (release dates to be announced)
• Improved graphics capabilities with multiple options that can be
modified on the fly
• Enhanced customization capabilities that provide a more
personalized experience, including the ability to design customized
dashboards to display most frequently used reports, as well as
unlimited cube-based reporting
New enhancements include:
• Front-end portal environment
developed in Microsoft SharePoint
that can be customized more easily to
meet client needs. This new front end
is adaptable to any organization type,
including payers, employers, at-risk
providers/ACOs, state governments,
and community health coalitions
• Stronger, more flexible dashboards that
enable significant drill-down capability
to give executives and managers
substantial firepower without the need
to navigate all levels of the software
