St. Kitts Wedding Requirements
•Both parties must have a valid passport and birth certificate.
•If divorced you must have a divorce decree absolute plus a notarized
translation if the document is not in English.
• If either party is widowed that party must have a copy of the death
certificate of the deceased spouse.
•No other form of identification or documentation can be used to
substitute any of the above mentioned documents. It is imperative that
passports, birth certificates, divorce decrees and death certificates in
original are brought to the island in order for the marriage license to be
prepared.
• If the ceremony is Roman Catholic, it must be held in a Roman
Catholic Church and the two parties must have a letter from their
home priest verifying that they are unmarried and have received
instructions.

have a letter from their home Minister verifying that they are known
and unmarried.

Terms and Conditions
Deposit: To guarantee your date, an initial 20% deposit of the estimated charge is due at contract signing. If
the event is cancelled for any reason, the hotel will retain the nonrefundable deposit as part of the
cancellation fee. Scheduled deposits will be set up with your Certified Marriott Wedding Planner.
Guarantee: Your final guarantee must be received no later than 72 hour prior to your wedding. This number will
be considered a guarantee and can not be reduced.
Service Charge and Tax: Banquet events are subject to a 16% service charge and 2% tax.
Bar Service: Our bartenders have the right to require proof of age. The hotel reserves the right to refuse service
to any person who appears to be intoxicated.
Outside Food & Beverage: No food or beverage is allowed to be brought into the hotel with the exception of
the wedding cake. The hotel specifically prohibits the removal of food and beverage from the function by the
client or any of the client’s guests.
Outside Vendors: When hiring outside vendors to provide any goods or services at Hotel during the event, the
Hotel may, at its sole discretion require that such vendor provide Hotel, in form and amount reasonably
satisfactory to Hotel, an indemnification agreement and proof of adequate insurance. Any damage caused
by the vendors will be the sole responsibility of the client.

Security: The Hotel shall not assume any responsibility for security or any damage or loss of personal property or
articles brought into the Hotel or for any item left unattended.
Group Rooms: Ten or more rooms per night are considered as a group. Discounted group room rates are
available upon request.
Outdoor Venues: Beach areas, pool areas and remote venues are subject to additional fees to cover
supplemental outdoor lighting, set up labor and transportation (if necessary).
Special Menu Needs: Dietary restrictions and special requests can be accommodated. Our culinary team is
