OISE Students - Technology Checklist
 TCard - ID/Access Card:


Used for student identification, library privileges (both in-person and online), student activities
and services, and facility access.
You can get your TCard at the TCard Office in Robarts Library. Along with your TCard, you
will get your UTORid and Secret Activation Key.

 UTORid - Computer/Login Account:

Your UTORid username and password is the key to a number of services at OISE, such as
access to the UofT Blackboard Learning Portal, C2C, myOISE, computer access (OISE
computer labs & UofT Libraries), wireless Internet access on campus and more. 


Your email account is automatically created when you activate your UTORid.

 Update your Email Contact Information in ROSI & the Library:


Please update your email address in your ROSI profile to reflect your new @mail.utoronto.ca
address if you have not done so when creating your UTORid account.

Check that the contact information that the Library has for you is current. Your email address
will be used to notify you of upcoming due dates and books which are available for pick-up.

 UofT Blackboard Portal – Online home for your courses:

The UofT Blackboard Portal is the online home for your courses. Courses that are using
Blackboard may not be visible to students until after your class has started, check with your
instructor to be sure.
