Leading Tobacco Manufacturer
1/2011 – 12/2012 Project description:
Design of a new Corporate reporting capability to support
management execution of the Group working capital optimization
strategy in terms of stock levels and production planning.
Contribution:
The new reporting model gave top management clear and timely
visibility on stock levels. Coupled with supply chain optimization
initiatives, the overall effect has been a total yearly cost saving on net
invested capital of approximately 1 billion US$, which was previously
tied up on inventory of finished, semi-finished goods and raw
materials.
Leading Consumer Goods manufacturing company
1/2010 – 12/2010 Project description:
Design of the new global payment factory for the Group and
managing the transitioning of the whole organization from bank’s
proprietary payment networks to a more bank agnostic infrastructure,
based on SWIFT.
Contribution
New centralized payment organization and payment infrastructure
successfully deployed in Europe, allowing the Company to achieve net
savings of finance costs for approximately 0.5 US $ millions per year.
