Project description:
Strategic cost management initiative, aiming at identifying
opportunities to reduce the selling, general and administrative
costs of the Group’s businesses operating in the Italian market, by
at least 10%.
Results:
The initiative has identified a roadmap to realize 20% cost savings
through multiple levers over a 3 years horizon (e.g. organizational
and process reengineering, externalizations, new operating
models, …).
Year 2013/2014
Leading vehicles distributor in Saudi Arabia and Middle East
Project description:
Re-design of the Group Corporate Finance’s organization,
processes and ERP systems (i.e. SAP transformation initiative).
Results:
The ongoing initiative aims at achieving significant increases in
global Finance and Treasury operations effectiveness, hence
reducing exposure to financial risks and enhancing global visibility
on Group’s liquidity.

Russian affiliate of a leading Tobacco Manufacturer
Project description:
Analysis and reengineering of commercial back-office processes,
devising a new operating model to reduce the overall running
costs of the commercial organization by over 20%.
Results:
The project identified and piloted a new operating model for both
trade marketing and field force operations, achieving the 20%
costs savings. The pilot of the new operating model highlighted
significant further saving potential in the commercial planning
area, above the 20% that was achieved through back office
processes reengineering.

Project description:
Design of a new Corporate reporting capability to support

management execution of the Group working capital optimization
strategy in terms of stock levels and production planning.
Results:
The new reporting model gave top management clear and timely
visibility on stock levels. Coupled with supply chain optimization
initiatives, the overall effect has been a total yearly cost saving on
net invested capital of approximately 1 billion US$, which was
previously tied up on inventory of finished, semi-finished goods
and raw materials.
Year 2011/2012
Leading Consumer Goods manufacturing company
Project description:
Design of the new global payment factory for the Group and
managing the transitioning of the whole organization from bank’s
proprietary payment networks to a bank agnostic infrastructure,
based on SWIFT.
Results
New centralized payment organization and payment
infrastructure successfully deployed in Europe, allowing the
Company to achieve net savings of finance costs for
approximately 0.5 US $ millions per year.
