Headquartered in Calgary, Moodys Gartner Tax Law LLP is growing its Vancouver
practice and is seeking an exceptional Tax Lawyer to work collaboratively with local
tax law industry leaders.

Working Relationships
This role will:

Work with a team of Lawyers and Accountants and reports to the Directors of
the Firm.

developments in tax and estate planning;

The Individual
Ideally the successful candidate will possess the following education, experience,
and personal characteristics:
Education
A Bachelor’s degree combined with, at minimum, an LL.B or JD. Completion of the
CICA In-Depth Tax Program or Tax Law for Lawyers program or the desire to
complete such program is required. An MTax is considered an asset.
Experience









A depth of experience in a legal Canadian tax advisory capacity,with Canada/US
cross border taxation experience an asset;
An excellent understanding of Canadian tax law principles;
A record of staying thoroughly up-to-date on new legislation and related
profession knowledge;
Outstanding project management skills demonstrated through effective and
efficient project execution, with an emphasis on excellence;
A reputation for being highly service oriented;
Excellent client relationship building skills;
Someone who has exhibited a high degree of discretion in the past and can be a
trusted individual;
Ability to write technical memos, after completing exhaustive research in a
logical format; and,
Proven ability to create clear, concise reports and presentations.
