Dear Candidates to the AP Human Geography Class,
Thank you for registering to this Edmodo account Code: as9bug. It is very important because the
Summer Assignment is divided into 3 different parts, and you will receive them using this account.
As you may know, in Human Geography we will focus mostly in Culture, which include things like:
Religion, Language, Migration, Development, Human Settlements, among other topics. However, since
this is a College Level class, students that take AP Human Geography, are expected to know the Physical
Part of Geography.
The First Part of this Summer Assignment, ensures, that you will be able to recognize, regions,
continents, countries around the world.
The Second Part will help you learn about the different and important Physical Features of The World.
The Third Part, will Introduce you to the study of Human Geography.
Those completed assignments will be your ticket to your test. Let me organize it as follows:
1. Register for Edmodo.
2. Follow Instructions posted by teacher.
3. Download Part 1 of the Summer Assignment, and complete it. (June 9 to June 23).
4. Download Part 2 of the Summer Assignment, and complete it. (June 24 to July 8)
5. Download Part 3 of the Summer Assignment and complete it. (July 9 to July 23).
6. Keep Everything Nicely organized in a New Folder, and review from time to time during the rest of
your summer.
7. When You come back to school, bring your folder with all your work the First Day of Class, and make
sure you turn it in, to make sure you reserve the right to Take The Diagnostic Test. Keep in mind that
the test will only be administered to those that Successfully, Complete and Turn in All 3 Parts of The
Summer Assignment.
