California Regions Map
Prep:
1.
Run a class set of California Regions maps.
2.
Make an overhead of the map.
Student Activity:
3.
Review what we’ve learned so far about California’s Regions. Use the class chart.
4.
Have students color their California regions map as one is colored on the
overhead.
5.
Explain to students that this map will be included on California Geography Test
at the end of the unit. They will be given a blank regions map with a blank
legend—they will need to complete both parts correctly to earn full credit on the
test.
6.
Explain that in one week students will be given a “practice” test to check how
their studying is moving along.
