Give the site an active email address for yourself. 5. ACTIVATE the membership. Go to your email account, and click on the LINK provided in the new message from Quizlet. You will not be able to participate in our group until you do. 6. Go back to Quizlet, sign in with your new name and password, and do a SEARCH for “SraKing Kids” (space between g and K). The site will bring you to a page where you can read a welcome from me, and see info on the amount of users and sets I have. Click on “SraKing Kids” and it should bring you to the page with all of my vocabulary study lists. If you are prompted for a password, use “megusta”. 7. SCROLL down the group list for the vocabulary list you want. Lists are organized by UNIDAD, etapa number, and topic (Unidad 1-3 Family and Dates, Unidad 3-2 Sports, etc) 8. Once you select your Vocabulary List, decide which STUDY MODE you want: Flashcards, Scatter, Space Race, Speller or the Test. Then PRACTICE! Predefined – work with the list of verbs shown in parentheses b. Random – there may be verbs there that we haven’t learned with special spelling changes c. Personal Selection – Check of up to ten verbs that trouble you most, and just work with them. 5. Begin. The cool thing about this site is that if you forget some of the conjugations to a verb, you can click on “Complete Conjugation” and a pop up will appear showing you all the forms of the verb. Do not worry about creating an account for this site, or about using a school account for this site. You can bypass all of that. 3. On the HOME PAGE, look to the left and scroll down to the Spanish options listed in the Conjuguemos Library. Choose from: a. Spanish Verbs – You will only work with the PRESENT TENSE (choice #2) – you decide which verb collection you need to work on. i. When you want to practice stem changing verbs, you’ll need to highlight the exact verbs we are working with in class, because there are many different kinds of “boot” verbs with different stem changes. To highlight, hold the control key down and click each verb with your mouse. b. Spanish Vocab (by book) –scroll to our En Español text and select the etapa we are in. There are games and flashcards for you. c. Spanish Grammar – you can practice adj agreement, gusta phrases, and lots of other stuff we’ve worked on in class. 4. When practicing conjugations, you can time yourself. Once you click on START, a timer will begin. See how fast you can get through the list, and how accurately. You can get a list of the verb’s forms on the right, as well as its meaning and a list of all the verbs belonging to that category.
