Dear Parent,
Your son or daughter is currently completing Spanish 2, and this letter is to inform you that
during the summer your student is required to complete a Spanish review packet that is
completely online. This packet contains vocabulary and grammar covered in Spanish 2 and
is meant to provide students with a strong reinforcement of concepts to help with the
transition into Spanish 3.
All of the student practice will be done on www.conjuguemos.com and
www.quizlet.com/ewig, which are both websites that students should be very familiar with
by now. Students will then either take screen shots of their scores, take a picture, or print
off the page with the score in order to turn their scores in the first day of school. We realize
that students will not have their computer over the summer, so if there is not a computer
with internet access at home, they will need to spend some time at the library or at a
relative or friend’s house in order to complete the assignments.
The scores are due the first day of the school year, when it will count as a 50-point
homework grade. Completion and accuracy will both be included in this grade. Also, there
will be a 50-point exam a few days into the school year, which will be based on the
information covered in the online review. The best approach is for each student to work on
the assignments gradually, neither doing it all right away nor at the last minute.

Click on one of the 12 lists and review the vocabulary as much as you need to (using
flashcards/scatter/speller/learn)
5) Click the “test” button and take a 20 question test. If you get a 90% or above, take a
screen shot, if not study more and then take it again! ***MAKE SURE YOU HAVE
THE TITLE OF THE LIST IN YOUR SHOT!!***

1) Go to www.studyspanish.com Navigation path: On the homepage, select GRAMMAR,
then from the menu on the left, select the number of the following activities. Click on the
“Basic Quiz” option. When you get a 100% on the quiz, screen shot your score with the
name of the quiz on the score.

1) Go to www.conjuguemos.com and log in with your username and password (see
bottom of sheet if you need to create an account. If you already have an account, make
sure you go to your setting and you are enrolled under teacher “Shelley Ewig” and
class” Spanish 3 summer packet)
2) Under Practice Activities, complete exercise 1-5 only. Use your notes, or look
things up online if you need help! When you finish with a 90% or better, take a
screen shot making sure that you include some of the questions so we can tell what
exercise it is!
3) Under Quizzes, complete “Read 1-4” only. Use your notes, or look things up online if
you need help! *You will only be able to do these exercises ONCE, so take your time
and check your answers before you submit. No need to screen shot, your scores will
be emailed directly to me! 
