Biome Menu Project (50 pts. total) Choose from the projects below to complete as part of a Biome Project. Different projects are worth different point values. You need to choose 2 projects that equal 40 points total. In other words, you can choose to do a 10 and 30 pointer to equal 40. Or you can choose two 20 pointers to equal 40. You are allowed to go over the 40 point total by 10 points for 10 extra credit points. The Biome Choices for your project include: -Tundra -Taiga -Temperate Desert -Temperate Forest -Tropical Desert -Tropical Savanna -Freshwater -Coral Reef -Chaparral -Temperate Grassland -Tropical Rain Forest Do not spend more than a few dollars on the project. At most, you may need a poster, construction paper, plain white paper, or some note cards. Ask Mr. Weigand for basic supplies. However, both people need to work together on both parts. One person does not do one choice, while the other person does the second choice. Being a partner means you are working together, not separately. An additional 10 points will be earned for working on the project appropriately during the class time provided. Each day this week there will be some time permitted to work on the project. Have your materials EVERY DAY! Remember: You are picking a Biome to do the project on. You should include accurate information about the biome, its climate, plant-life, animal-life, and other items deemed important. In other words, it should be factual.
