Technology Officer
Twenty year industry professional brings experience and expertise
in medical technology and product development
Indianapolis, IN (July 29, 2008) - Polymer Technology Systems, Inc. (PTS, Inc.), a provider of Point-ofCare (POC) diagnostic products to healthcare and consumer industries, announces the appointment of Dr.
Frank LaDuca as its Chief Science and Technology Officer. Dr. LaDuca will be responsible for managing all
technical staff and programs, including product design and development, strategic technology planning,
quality assurance, quality control, clinical and regulatory affairs, and technical support.
“Frank brings a wealth of experience and product development knowledge that makes him a strategic asset

Dr. LaDuca is a senior management professional with extensive experience in a regulated medical
environment. Prior to joining PTS, Inc. he served as Vice President at Siemens Medical Solutions –
Diagnostics in Tarrytown, N.Y., managing the global Quality System. Prior to Siemens, Frank was the
Senior Director of Global Regulatory Affairs for Bayer Healthcare Diagnostics. His other appointments
include Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs and Vice President, R&D at International
Technidyne Corporation, a POC diagnostic manufacturer, located in Edison, N.J.
