Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.
With an e-membership base of over 10,000, APEX is the premier Asian Pacific American
(APA) professional organization in Southern California. Our annual Career Symposium is the
largest career development conference dedicated to APA professionals in the region and is
one of the most significant and visible events in the APA professional community. This
year’s event will be the 10th iteration of our annual career development conference, and
we anticipate that it will be our largest conference yet.
The theme for this year’s Symposium is “Maximize Your Career; Realize Your Potential,”

The Asian Professional Exchange (APEX) is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit,
nonpartisan community-based organization with multi-faceted goals and
purposes that are charitable, cultural and educational in nature. Comprised
of professionals, entrepreneurs and graduate students, APEX currently
boasts an e-community membership of over 10,000 strong in the
Southern California area.
VISION
APEX hopes to create a unified sense of community among all Asian Americans, here
in the United states and abroad. By combining diverse skills and resources to support
common goals, APEX strives to benefit not only the Asian American community, but our
society as a whole.
PURPOSE
APEX’s purpose is to serve as a medium to bring increased awareness about and to
Asian Americans through community service, charitable fundraisers, cultural events,
professional networking and educational seminars. Ultimately, the goal of APEX is to lift,
motivate and inspire all Asian Americans to excel and lead not only within their respective
professions but within their communities as well.
MISSION
APEX’s mission is to become the premier membership organization for Asian Americans in
Southern California, who have an unwavering commitment to excellence in community
service, professional development and cultural awareness.
OBJECTIVES

the Asian American community.
