LOUIS — August 7, 2013 — Robert H. Chapman, Chairman and CEO of Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeffrey S. Hanson to the position of Vice President of International Finance. With 25 years of international trade and banking experience, Hanson will contribute his broad range of skills and expertise toward enhancing Barry-Wehmiller’s continued expansion in international markets. Currently, about 35 percent of Barry-Wehmiller’s revenue is from international sales. The company predicts that number will grow to 50 percent in the next five years. “Jeff’s achievements in creating a financial structure to support our strategic initiatives internationally have added significantly to our global development,” Chapman said. “Through his leadership, Barry-Wehmiller is poised to substantially grow our international presence.” As the Vice President of International Finance, Jeff is responsible for leading Barry-Wehmiller’s international trade financing team; oversight of international treasury management, management of all foreign exchange transactions; and oversight of European statutory accounting requirements. “Jeff’s knowledge in providing international trade products and services has allowed us to realize considerable expansion, both organically and through acquisitions, in Europe, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim,” stated Jim Lawson, Barry-Wehmiller Vice President and CFO. “His accomplishments throughout the last seven years demonstrate that he is a vital member of our corporate finance team.” Hanson joined Barry-Wehmiller in 2006 as the Director of International Finance. Fluent in both Spanish and Chinese, Hanson has more than 25 years of international business and finance experience, having held positions in Europe, Asia and Latin America. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Montana in Missoula and a Master of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Ariz.
