Built-In Emulators Provide Safe Testing Environment
Using the LabVIEW PDA Module, you can create applications for
Palm OS or Pocket PC PDA devices by simply creating a LabVIEW
block diagram. Because your application is developed in LabVIEW,
you can port your existing LabVIEW applications to the PDA
device. With LabVIEW PDA technology, NI delivers user-defined
portable solutions for a wide spectrum of applications. An
example of the power of LabVIEW PDA technology is field-testing
applications – data is acquired at remote sites and stored on the
PDA until it can be uploaded to a host PC.
The LabVIEW PDA Module includes emulators you can use to
quickly and safely test your application inside a simulated
environment that will mimic the behavior of the actual PDA
device. These emulators give you additional flexibility in the
design and testing of your PDA applications and greater
confidence that your application will behave as intended on your
actual PDA devices.
