Aboriginal Friendship Centre Program (AFCP) and First Citizens Fund Friendship Centre Reporting Timelines-BCAAFC Quarterly Financial Statements: April 1-June 30 Due July 30th July 1-Sept 30 Due October 30th Nov 1-Dec 31 Due January 30th Jan 1-March 31 Due April 30th Quarterly financials include: Consolidated balance sheet; Income statement. Narrative-Annual Reporting April 1-March 31 Due June 15th Narrative-Friendship Centres submit to BCAAFC two (2) copies of the annual report. This includes the narrative summary of all program activities and total number of clients, using the report template provided by BCAAFC. Additional Documentation: December 1 Friendship Centres to submit to BCAAFC two (2) signed original AFCP core funding applications. December 15 BCAAFC submit Friendship Centre Applications to the NAFC. January 31 Program Review Committee reviews all AFCP applications; provide a full report on funding applications; submits recommendations for the NAFC. April 1 NAFC release the first 50% installment of AFCP funds to Friendship Centres subject to the receipt of funding from the Minister of Canadian Heritage. June 15 Friendship Centres submit to BCAAFC two(2) of the following: signed original consolidated audited financial statements, auditors management letter, Friendship Centre response to the management letter (once approved by the FCs Board) and related annual activity report for the previous fiscal year. Friendship Centres will send the projected budgets or motion from the Board affirming all program budgets have been approved for the next fiscal (April to March) once approved by the Board. September 15 BCAAFC submit all annual reports to NAFC, along with recommendations to the NAFC NAFC release the second 50% installment of AFCP funds to Friendship Centres subject to the receipt of funding from the Minister of Canadian Heritage. AFCP and FCF Friendship Centre Report Timelines February 2009 Friendship Centres on Special Agreement Reporting as outlined in Special Agreement either monthly or quarterly, including: Financial-Bank Statements and Account Reconciliation; Balance Sheet and General Ledger; Income Statement; Projected Annual Budget Narrative Reports-Updated recovery plan; Staff Reports and Board Minutes The AFCP Program Review Committee will submit recommendations quarterly for Friendship Centres on Special Agreement after reporting is reviewed. January 15 Friendship Centres on Special Agreement to submit: recovery plan for the next fiscal year, projected cash flow budget for the next fiscal, and the signed Special Agreement. June 15 Friendship Centres on Special Agreement submit to BCAAFC, the interim unaudited consolidated Balance Sheet, an Income Statement, and a related Activity Report for the two months ending May 31 to obtain the second quarterly payment. Also a recovery plan update ending May 30. July 15 Friendship Centres on Special Agreement submit to BCAAFC two(2) of the following: signed original consolidated audited financial statements, auditors management letter, Friendship Centre response to the management letter (once approved by the FCs Board) and related annual activity report for the previous fiscal year as well as projected cash flow budget for the next fiscal (April to March).
